Haterproof Entertainment’s Night of Comedy

Last Friday proved to be a rewarding night out as comedians from all walks came out to celebrate Disciple & Stretch’s Birthday Comedy Party in Methuen.  The stand-up portion of the evening was full of intoxicated hilarity, amusing insults and scathing comedic anecdotes courtesy of Jonathan Gates & Friends.  Everyone got picked on; from couples who foolishly wandered in fashionably late to photographers near the edge of the stage. The razor-sharp comedians proved that no one was off limits. We here at PlayasOnly can’t front either, even our staff was a little taken upon noticing the Shisha being smoked through separate Hookahs at random tables offering a quasi-Indian feel to an already culturally diverse evening filled with variety.

Even more surprising was the relatively seamless transition from “show” to “party” halfway through the festivities as tables were cleared and moved to the side for a continued romp of laughs and good times; Only this time on the dance floor…  With DJ Sammy Smoove &T-Roc in charge of the groovin’ and shakin’, no one could go wrong as guests feverishly danced themselves into a stupor for what seemed to be a night of endless birthday bliss!  Indeed it was a fine gathering of friends & family that we’re sure was appreciated and enjoyed by all.  Don’t forget to check us out on YouTube @ PlayasOnlyTV for
